Mr. Chris D'Alessio: ELA Specialist
I am absolutely thrilled to start another year with the District 105 family as one of your ELA Advanced Academics Specialists. I look forward to an exciting year of discovering and learning with the kids. I am originally a suburban Chicago boy and grew up in Glen Ellyn, IL. I have a Master’s Degree in Education from National Louis University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education. I also hold Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Communications from the University of Iowa. (Go Hawks!)
I live in La Grange with my wife Betsy, my two children, Ginny and Lewis, and our dog, Marv. I enjoy outdoor activities with the family, reading and writing, and every aspect of food. I hope to meet more members of the District 105 School community this year and can’t wait to continue working with the students!

Mrs. Nicole Musillami: ELA Specialist
I am so honored to be a part of the D105 family. My role as an advanced ELA (English language arts) specialist enables me to support young readers and writers in 3rd-6th grades across two of our wonderful elementary buildings, both Spring Avenue and Hodgkins Elementary. In my role, I engage students in complex text, encourage high-level questioning, facilitate conversations, and promote creative writing. The enthusiasm these students have makes me so excited to teach them each day!
Prior to D105, I was a literacy coach in Schaumburg and an elementary teacher in Baltimore, MD. I'm originally from New Jersey, and I enjoy visiting my family at the Jersey shore every summer. The beach is my happy place! In my free time, I love to get lost in a good book, craft and spend time outside with my family. I live in LaGrange with my husband Tony, our kids Siena and Enzo, and our golden retriever Luna.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy reading! 📚
